INOC - International Network for Organization Development and Coaching

Gegründet wurde das INOC 2014 von Bernd Schmid als internationales Netzwerk für Professionals und Organisationen, die gemeinsam lernen, entwickeln und professionalisieren - über nationale Grenzen hinaus, um auf internationaler Bühne neue und durchaus ungewöhnliche Ansätze und Methoden für OE und Coaching auszuarbeiten – immer auf der Grundlage humanen Wirtschaftens und einer menschenwürdigen Gesellschaftskultur.

Bernd Schmids Idee zu einem internationalen Netzwerks entstand 2013 im Zuge der „Learning Conversations" mit Treffen in Oxford, Heidelberg und Florenz. Aus diesen „vernetzten Gesprächen" wurde später ein Netzwerk - das INOC - mit seinem „INOC Core Team", das jedes Jahr das INOC Meeting organisiert: Hier treffen sich Mitglieder des INOC und OE Experten zum Erfahrungsaustausch, um voneinander zu lernen und um auf internationaler Bühne Ansätze und Methoden für OE und Coaching auszuarbeiten.

Als Bernd Schmid Ende 2016 seinen Rückzug von den professionellen Bühnen einläutete, gab er auch die Regie des INOC weiter. Markus Schwemmle, Gründer und Leiter von System Worx in München und langjähriger Lehrtrainer am isb, hat zusammen mit seinem „INOC Core Team" die organisatorische Verantwortung für INOC übernommen und richtet nun die jährlichen INOC Meetings aus.

Mittlerweile hat sich INOC zu einem Internationalen Think Tank für Organisationsentwicklung und Coaching entwickelt, dessen Vision es ist, die Zukunft von OE und Coaching über Disziplinen, Generationen und Kulturen hinweg zu ko-kreieren. Über die bisherigen, jährlichen INOC Meetings hinaus liegt der Fokus nun darauf, den INOC Think Tank und seine Community zu erweitern und gemeinsam eine dynamische Bewegung zu schaffen.

Die INOC Meetings:

Das erste INOC Meeting im Mai 2015 fand in Wiesloch statt.

Mehr als 40 Teilnehmer, darunter Fachleute führender internationaler Unternehmen und Universitäten, trafen sich am 29. und 30. Mai 2015 in Wiesloch, um ihre Ansichten und Erfahrungen zum Leitmotiv "Dialogische Organisationsentwicklung und Organisationscoaching" der Tagung zu diskutieren.

Zur Vorbereitung auf das zweite INOC Meeting 2016 machte sich Bernd Schmid im Vorfeld auf zur INOC Dialogue Tour, einer einwöchigen Reise nach Vancouver und in die Bay Area, wo er die OE Pioniere Fanita English, Edgar Henry Schein, Gervase Bushe and Yabome Gilpin-Jackson traf.

Highlights beim INOC Meeting 2016 waren u.a. Skype-Sitzungen mit Gervase Bushe und Ed Schein, die lebhafte und bewegende Begegnungen zwischen ihnen und den Teilnehmern ermöglichten, die Vorträge von Anandan Geethan (Chennai, Indien) über "Inner- und Inter-Abteilungsarbeit" und Peter Hawkins (Bath, UK) über "Tomorrow's World - and Today's Challenge".

Das  dritte INOC MEETING 2017  fand am 10. Und 11. November im Kolpinghaus in München statt. Auf diesem Treffen sollte besonders der internationale Austausch zwischen OE Experten gefördert werden. Neben Mitgleidern des INOC waren auch Interessierte aus Unternehmen, Regierungskontext und von Universitäten zum gemeinsamen Austausch eingeladen.

INOC Mashup Meeting 2019 und INOC Congress 2020
Das zweitägige INOC Mashup Meeting 2019 findet am 15. und 16. November 2019 in München statt. Hier werden die relevanten Fragen zur Zukunft von OD & Coaching diskutiert.

Aufbauend auf den Erkenntnissen des Pre-Congresses, findet im September/Oktober 2020 der erste große International OD & Coaching Congress statt. Dort werden wir die zukunfts-relevanten Fragen exploriert und die Zukunft von OE und Coaching co-kreiert.

Darüber hinaus werden aktuell deutschland- und europaweit INOC + ODNE Connect Group Meetings organisiert, um die Ideen zu diesem Thema zu teilen, zu diskutieren und zu erweitern.

The International Network for Organization Development and Coaching (INOC) was founded 2014 by Dr. Bernd Schmid . The INOC is an international network of professionals and organizations, who work and learn together across national and disciplinary borders to develop modern concepts of Business Coaching and Organization Development – based on humanistic values.

The network aims at supporting people and organizations in their professional contexts with new interdisciplinary approaches. It also is focused on connecting Organization Development and Organizational Coaching while fostering humanism and culture. Each year, members of the INOC meet to learn from each other and continue to further develop INOC approaches and methods.

INOC is a meeting point for those who are focused on individual professional development and at the same time on organizational development.

Bernd Schmid´s idea of an international network was firstly initiated by the "Learning Conversations" with meetings in Oxford, Heidelberg, Florence and a Coaching conference in Porto Alegre Brazil. Shifting to a more organizational focus, the network became INOC, the so-called "INOC Core Team" was established and meetings were continued.

The first "INOC meeting" took place in Wiesloch, May 2015 and was a great success. It was followed by the "INOC Meeting 2016" with Bernd Schmid´s preceding INOC Dialogue Tour, a one week trip to Vancouver and the Bay Area where he met the OD pioneers and practitioners Fanita English, Edgar Henry Schein, Gervase Bushe and Yabome Gilpin-Jackson.

Since Bernd Schmid has recalled his gradual retreat from his professional activities, the INOC "Core Team" has moved its base to System Worx in Munich. Markus Schwemmle, head of System Worx and long-time teacher at the isb, has taken over with his Core Team.

In the meantime, INOC has developed into an international think tank for organizational development and coaching whose vision is to co-create the future of OE and coaching across disciplines, generations and cultures. Beyond the previous annual INOC meetings, the focus is now on expanding the INOC Think Tank and its community and creating a dynamic movement together.

The INOC Meetings

The first INOC Meeting in May 2015 took place in Wiesloch.
